Snowshoes
 Adult Nordic Ski/Snowshoe Adventure
Back by popular demand! Join us for another Nordic and/or snowshoe adventure. Novices are welcome, equipment can be made available to you if you don’t have your own. Join our partnership of Recreation Departments from Gorham, Cape Elizabeth, Windham, Standish and Falmouth for a cross country ski or snowshoe excursion. We will hike the Maine Huts & Trails’ groomed trails in the beautiful Western Maine mountains to Poplar Ridge. The trail to the hut is approximately 3.2 miles and has great views of the Bigelow Mountain Range. Once at the lodge we will enjoy locally sourced, homemade food and all of the comforts of the lodge including hot showers, radiant heat and a drying room. Wine and local brews are available for purchase at the hut. Enjoy a relaxing evening by the fire, games with friends, old and new, or possibly a night hike. Accommodations are in shared bunkrooms. Limited private rooms (double occupancy) may be available.
