Introduction to Edible Landscaping
Any landscape can incorporate an abundance of edible plants. Learn about a selection of styles, techniques and plants to turn your surroundings into a edible oasis.

Class will be taught by Aaron Parker. Aaron operates Edgewood Nursery in Falmouth, Maine, which specializes in unusual edible plants. He has given talks and classes throughout Maine on edible landscaping, seed saving, perennial vegetables, and low-maintenance, low-input gardening.

This class is sponsored by Gorham Community Grown Agriculture Program Grant received by Cumberland County Soil and Water Conservation District from the Quimby Family Foundation. The grant project also includes a food forest planting in Gorham Village, youth after school and summer camp programming, placement of portable planters throughout the town, and a fall event.

Proceeds from this activity will support project supplies for the Food Forest and Edible Landscape planting at the Little Falls Activity Center and in Gorham Village
