Before and After the Bell isheld at Little Falls Community Center, on Acron St. It is a program for students in grades K-5 attending Great Falls, Narragansett, and Village Schools. Students can be dropped off between 7:00 and 8:30 am and will be transported to and from school by Gorham Schools buses. Participants can use this time to work quietly, finish homework, play games, run around and release some energy, or even eat breakfast that is brought from home. During After the Bell program hours, participants will have the opportunity to have snack provided by the Gorham School Nutrition Program, do homework, and enjoy activities such as active games, free time, board games, arts & crafts, outdoor time, and other various activities. Program ends at 5:30 pm. Participants must be signed out of the program by a parent/guardian daily. After the Bell will be open everyday that school is in session, including early release and in-service days. In the event of snow day or snow early release there will  NO Before and After the Bell.Application fee of $40 may be paid online to hold your spot, but a special registration form is required for the program. The Tai Chi classes will focus on a set of "fun" exercises that involve light stretching, Qi Gong (Chi Kung) breathing exercises, and a basic introductory form. Students will leave at the end of each class feeling more relaxed with a calm peace of mind.  Toby Plourde holds black belts in various styles of karate, kung fu and tai chi. In addition, he has taught martial arts classes in New Hampshire, Florida, Massachusetts and Maine.

Introductory Cheerleading program for grades K-1,  2&3rd grade and 4th to 6th grade.  Learn the basics of cheering and attend youth basketball games to perform!  The program will focus on cheers rather then jumps and tumbling. It is meant for the introductory cheerleader.  Practice days and times for the winter session will be on Sundays.Black leggings are encouraged to be worn at the performance. Poms may be distributed at the start at practice and performances but will be collected afterwards. Poms are property of the Gorham Recreation Youth Cheerleading Program.

Participants can use this time to work quietly, finish homework, play games, run around and release some energy, or even eat breakfast that is brought from home. During After the Bell program hours, participants will have the opportunity to have snack provided by the Gorham School Nutrition Program, do homework, and enjoy activities such as active games, free time, board games, arts & crafts, outdoor time, and other various activities. Program ends at 5:30 pm. Participants must be signed out of the program by a parent/guardian daily. After the Bell will be open everyday that school is in session, including early release and in-service days. In the event of snow day or snow early release there will  NO Before and After the Bell.Application fee of $40 may be paid online to hold your spot, but a special registration form is required for the program. In addition, he has taught martial arts classes in New Hampshire, Florida, Massachusetts and Maine.

Before and After the Bell isheld at Little Falls Community Center, on Acron St. It is a program for students in grades K-5 attending Great Falls, Narragansett, and Village Schools. Students can be dropped off between 7:00 and 8:30 am and will be transported to and from school by Gorham Schools buses. Participants can use this time to work quietly, finish homework, play games, run around and release some energy, or even eat breakfast that is brought from home. During After the Bell program hours, participants will have the opportunity to have snack provided by the Gorham School Nutrition Program, do homework, and enjoy activities such as active games, free time, board games, arts & crafts, outdoor time, and other various activities. Program ends at 5:30 pm. Participants must be signed out of the program by a parent/guardian daily. After the Bell will be open everyday that school is in session, including early release and in-service days. In the event of snow day or snow early release there will  NO Before and After the Bell.Application fee of $40 may be paid online to hold your spot, but a special registration form is required for the program. Gorham Parks and Recreation will be taking a trip up to Bretton Woods during February Vacation on Thursday, February 20th.Bretton Woods, tucked away in Carroll, is New Hampshire's largest ski area with 464 acres of skiing and snowboarding on 63 trails and 35 glades! Gorham Youth Field Hockey, collaborating with the Gorham Recreation Department will be offering indoor field hockey for grades 6, 7 and 8. High school varsity coaches, Becky Manson and Meredith Thurston, will be offering a winter field hockey session for girls currently in 6th, 7th and 8th grade. This 8 week session will focus on skills, game play and conditioning. The session will run from February 25th - April 16th, Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:45 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Players must plan to bring sneakers, goggles, mouthguard, sock for stick and water. Please register through the Gorham Recreation Department. All players (with or without experience) are encouraged to attend.

The Tai Chi classes will focus on a set of "fun" exercises that involve light stretching, Qi Gong (Chi Kung) breathing exercises, and a basic introductory form. Students will leave at the end of each class feeling more relaxed with a calm peace of mind.  Toby Plourde holds black belts in various styles of karate, kung fu and tai chi. In addition, he has taught martial arts classes in New Hampshire, Florida, Massachusetts and Maine.

Before and After the Bell isheld at Little Falls Community Center, on Acron St. It is a program for students in grades K-5 attending Great Falls, Narragansett, and Village Schools. Students can be dropped off between 7:00 and 8:30 am and will be transported to and from school by Gorham Schools buses. Participants can use this time to work quietly, finish homework, play games, run around and release some energy, or even eat breakfast that is brought from home. During After the Bell program hours, participants will have the opportunity to have snack provided by the Gorham School Nutrition Program, do homework, and enjoy activities such as active games, free time, board games, arts & crafts, outdoor time, and other various activities. Program ends at 5:30 pm. Participants must be signed out of the program by a parent/guardian daily. After the Bell will be open everyday that school is in session, including early release and in-service days. In the event of snow day or snow early release there will  NO Before and After the Bell.Application fee of $40 may be paid online to hold your spot, but a special registration form is required for the program.
