A can’t miss ‘spudtacular’ trip to The County! We invite you to join us and
experience the calming vistas of rolling fields, forests and farms during the
prettiest time of year, Potato Blossom. This three day, two night 15-passenger bus
trip will take us to sites including the Fort Kent Blockhouse….defense site during
the bloodless Aroostook War; “Americas First Mile” in Madawaska; the Salmon
Brook Historical Society Museums in Washburn; Mars Hill where the wind mills
align the top of Mars Hill Mountain ridge; Presque Isle…home of Aroostook State
Park, Maine’s first State Park and virtually every town in between!
Trip includes 15-passenger bus transportation, step on guide presentation,
accommodations at Ivey’s Motel (breakfast included) in Houlton on Day 1 and the
Northeastland Hotel in Presque Isle on Day 2. All meals on your own. At
registration, participant will receive a full itinerary of the trip.
