  • Seasonal Program Supervisor The Town of Gorham’s Recreation Department is seeking an energetic, patient and enthusiastic person to provide general supervision for the Department’s Basketball leagues and programs. Work hours are variable, usually between 4-20 hours a week, and generally occur Monday through Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings and afternoons at different gyms throughout the Town of Gorham. The person in this position must be able to promote a positive environment that fosters fun and safety while maintaining good public relations and providing excellent customer service. Duties include interacting with volunteer coaches, operating scoreboards and other gym equipment, and organizing and putting away equipment. Prior experience working in a customer-oriented work environment and a general knowledge of basketball and gym activities preferred.   • Before and After the Bell program This form must be completed and returned (as well as your online registration) in order for your child to be enrolled in the Before and After the Bell program.

Scholarship Information
  • Scholarship application Please note that not all of the programs qualify for scholarships and the number of scholarships is limited. Scholarships are only available to Gorham residents. To determine eligibility you must fill out and return the application to Gorham Town Clerk. The decision will be based on income for the household from all members and the actual expenses.
